Between this and touch mode, I have to wonder if Google and Microsoft are asking to be written off by the tech industry. This sort of absent-minded, throw-everything-at-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks attitude is going to cost both of these companies dearly. In fact, in some ways, it already has.
